The Ecclesial Conference of the Amazon (CEAMA) expressed its fraternal greetings and congratulations to the new presidency of the Venezuelan Conference of Religious Men and Women (CONVER), highlighting this moment as an opportunity for grace and prophetic service to the People of God in Venezuela and the Amazon region.

In a message addressed to the sisters and brothers of consecrated life, CEAMA deeply valued the testimony of commitment, closeness, and dedication of the religious congregations present in the country, especially in contexts of social and economic hardship. “Their incarnated presence and mission alongside the poor, migrants, indigenous peoples, and rural communities are a living sign of the Gospel that liberates and consoles,” the letter states.

The Conference reaffirmed its willingness to continue walking in communion with CONVER, with the goal of creating a synodal, intercultural, and inculturated Church with an Amazonian face and committed to justice, peace, and care for our Common Home.

CEAMA concluded by entrusting the new presidency to the intercession of Mary of Coromoto, patron saint of Venezuela, and asked the Holy Spirit for wisdom, courage, and joy for this new period of service to consecrated life.
