The Ecclesial Conference of the Amazon (CEAMA) invites all priests serving in the various territories of the Pan-Amazon region to participate in the Virtual Meeting of Priests in the Amazon, to be held on Wednesday, November 5, 2025.

This meeting is part of the listening process that CEAMA is promoting to define its synodal apostolic priorities, in preparation for the General Assembly in March 2026. It is a key moment to discern, together with those who accompany the daily life of the communities, the calls of the Spirit amid the challenges and hopes of the Amazonian territory.

Meeting schedule:

• 4:00 p.m. – Colombia, Ecuador, Peru

• 5:00 p.m. – Venezuela, Bolivia, Manaus, Antilles

• 6:00 p.m. – Brasilia

In this space of communion and fraternal dialogue, priests will be able to share their pastoral experiences, concerns, searches, and proposals in light of the signs of the times emerging from the Amazon. Listening to their voices is essential to continue building a synodal Church that walks alongside the peoples and defends life, justice, and the dignity of our Common Home.

CEAMA recognizes the witness and dedication of so many priests who, with creativity and evangelical commitment, accompany communities in contexts of geographical distance, cultural diversity, and profound social transformations. This meeting will also be an opportunity to recognize ourselves as an ecclesial body in shared mission, to renew hope, and to strengthen our ministerial identity in an Amazonian key.

CEAMA joyfully invites all priests to be an active part of this process of discernment and listening.

Every word, every story, and every reflection contributed will help to outline the synodal apostolic horizons that will guide the Church’s journey together in the Amazon toward an integral, prophetic pastoral ministry committed to the life of the territory and its peoples.
