This Christmas, the Ecclesial Conference of the Amazon (CEAMA) gives thanks for the journey shared and for the life that springs forth in the Amazonian territories, especially where peoples resist, dream, and build hope.
The birth of Jesus invites us to renew our commitment to a Church that listens, accompanies, and reconciles, deeply incarnated in the Amazonian reality and attentive to the cry of the earth and its peoples. Amid social, environmental, and ecclesial challenges, Christmas reminds us that God walks with his people and makes all things new.
May this time of grace strengthen our shared mission, promote synodality, and encourage us to continue weaving networks of care, justice, and full life for the Amazon.
With hope and confidence in the year ahead, we wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a 2026 full of hope.
