The Ecclesial Conference of the Amazon (CEAMA) expressed its fraternal greetings and joy at the election of the newBoard of Directors of the Conference of Religious of Colombia (CRC), predicting a fruitful path of service, evangelical discernment and prophetic animation in the consecrated life of the country.

In an official letter sent to the new Board, CEAMA expressed its gratitude for the testimony of Colombian religious life, which, with firmness and hope, has accompanied peoples and territories in border contexts, especially in the Amazon region.

“We are united by a common vocation for a synodal Church, embodied in the cries of the earth and the poor, where consecrated life has been a witness of tenderness, justice, and hope,” reads the letter signed by the Presidency and Executive Secretariat of CEAMA.

Likewise, the commitment to journey together in processes of pastoral coordination and shared mission was renewed, highlighting the fundamental role of religious life in caring for our Common Home and in building prophetic, missionary, and inculturated communities.

CEAMA reaffirms its closeness to the CRC in this new phase, trusting that the Holy Spirit will continue to inspire paths of creative fidelity to the Gospel amid the challenges facing Colombia and the Amazon.

Congratulations to the new CRC Board of Directors!

We continue walking together, serving the Kingdom.
